This weekend I had the pleasure of being the second shooter for a fabulous photographer from Austin Texas! Marella of Marella Photography was here shooting a destination wedding and I had the privilege of working with her. This was my first time to be a second shooter and it was fun to watch another professional photographer run the show. The wedding took place at the gorgeous Kualoa Ranch on the windward side of Oahu. This is my second time to shoot at this locations and I have to say it is one of my favorite wedding locations on the island. The ocean and mountain views are absolutely breathtaking. The best part of the day is when a rainbow appeared right in the middle of the ceremony. Brendan joked that he had to pay big bucks to pull that off. What a perfect touch to a perfect day!
After spending ten years supporting my husband in the Air Force my heart really goes out to all the military families. The Barg family just moved up to the top of my prayer list as they get geared up for yet another deployment. They decided that a family photo shoot on the beach would be the best way to etch this time and these memories in their minds forever. That is what I love most about my job. I get to capture all these special moments. That pride a parent has for their children, the innocence in a little girl’s eye, and most of all the love and bond that holds a family together. Thank you for trusting this moment in time to me and I hope these photos will help you remember this day forever!
